Removing Wood Floor for Complete Dry

Wood floors are beautiful but easy to damage. When you have water damage on a wood floor, it’s likely that you’ll see the wood start to warp or buckle. Sometimes with wood floors, it is necessary to remove an entire section of the floor to be able to dry the subfloor as completely as possible. That is what we had to do here. If you look at these photos you can clearly see the difference between the subfloor when it is wet and when it is dry. Luckily, the floor is dry now and the restoration process can start.
