Leaky Skylight

Skylights are a beautiful addition to a home. They give the home an interesting and modern look and they let in a substantially higher amount of light. However, you don’t want them letting in any more water, and that is exactly what happened here.
The skylight shown here had a little bit of a leak, but it wasn’t until some time passed and the area with the leak started showing some discoloration that it was acknowledged. Of course, it’s not the owner's fault. Skylights are pretty high up there! If you’re not looking for it, you’re likely not going to see the damage until it’s grown a bit.
So they called SERVPRO® to help take care of the water damage and the discoloration and as you can see the skylight is back in good condition!
