Appreciating Our SERVPRO Heroes
Here at SERVPRO®, we talk all the time about how our teams are highly trained professionals. We are incredibly proud of the time and training our team members go through to become the skilled SERVPRO Heroes that they are. However, the training isn’t the only reason that we appreciate our team members.
Our teams are dedicated and passionate when it comes to the work they do. This year especially, there have been so many obstacles that were presented to them. The two most notable have been the COVID-19 Pandemic and the major storm/flooding that happened in July.
When the virus hit full force in March, our teams were ready to take on whatever they needed to. They put on their PPE, and they kept pushing on with business as usual. They also went to work with applying disinfectant to businesses and to local fire and police vehicles who were concerned about the safety of the people on their teams. Our techs and content team members have been on top of their game when it comes to sanitization, and we are thankful for their efforts during these unprecedented times.
That same level of dedication came into play when Central Illinois was hit with the major storm and flood. There were hundreds of calls from the point that the storms hit and for a little over a week after. Our teams continued to follow the sanitation protocol while also handling the high volume of water, storm, sewer, and other types of damage. They worked so hard and really did the SERVPRO® name justice!
We are so happy and thankful to have the team that we do that is Here to Help® with our customers’ damage and loss situations.
